Recruitment & Development
Admin users can add new users
Users with the Recruitment Admin role or Development Admin role now have access to the People page, where they can add new users to the platform .
Adding new users to the Assessio platform has become easier. Previously only users with the Owner role could add new users, but now this action can be performed by anyone with an Admin role as well.
In order to add a new user, go to the people page and click on ‘Add Recruitment user’ or ‘Add Development user’, depending on the module that is active for your organisation. Then select the option to add a ‘New user’ at the top of the form. Now you add the person’s information and give them a role. Finally, you click ‘Send invite’, this will send an email to the person, inviting them as new user. This invitation includes a link to create an account with the provided email address as username; the user can choose their own password.
When a Recruitment Admin or Development Admin create a new user this way, the owner(s) of the organisation will receive a notification stating that a new user has been added. Adding new users may have an impact on the cost of the platform.
New Screening lenses available
A new type of Lens is introduced: Screening lenses. These require a shorter assessment process. Two lenses are added to the Lens Library: ‘Integrity’ and ‘Service’.
For some job positions, screening is used to quickly identify suitable candidates from a large applicant pool. To accommodate screening, a new lens type has been added to the Assessio Lens Library: Screening lenses. Other lenses are now either ‘Competency Lenses’ type or, if they have been created by someone in your organization, the ‘Organizational lenses’ type.
When a Screening lens is used within a Recruitment, candidates that are invited to that Recruitment receive a shorter version of the Personality measure MAP, namely MAP Essence. Instead of the 200 MAP questions, MAP Essence uses 75questions. This provides a quicker assessment process. It also means that the data can only be used for the Screening lenses, switching to other lens types in the Analyze page is not possible. Use Screening lenses when you have a large applicant pool and want to quickly assess which candidates are of interest, using only a small job-match description; for instance in Retail and/or Hospitality.
The Integrity screening lens evaluates a candidate’s ability to follow rules and assesses the risk of harmful behavior at work. Higher scores indicate a stronger presence of behaviors associated with a willingness to follow rules, internalized values, norms and expectations, which is associated with positive organizational citizenship behaviors. Lower scores indicate an increased risk for a candidate’s likelihood to exhibit Counterproductive Work Behavior (CWB), which are actions that harm the organization or its employees.
The Service screening lens assesses a candidate’s service-oriented qualities and measures their likelihood of performing well in a service-oriented role. The lens predicts customer service-related performance by using the predictive power of the big five traits towards behaviors that enhance the service offering and exceed customer expectations. This lens aims to quickly and effectively identify candidates suited for customer service roles based on personality traits.
The Screening lenses are considered an add-on to the recruitment module. If you would like to know more or gain access to the Screening lenses, please contact Assessio.
Top matches get stars
Any candidate in a Recruitment that has a Match score in the top 10% percentile for the active lens, now receive a star next to their score.
The Match score is the most important result from an assessment. It indicates a person-job fit and the closer it is to 100, the better the match between the Candidates potential and the competencies required for the job.But for some jobs a high score might be more common than for others. Some potential is just harder to find.
To indicate that a particular score is exceptional, a star is added to the Match score. This indicates that the score is in the top 10% percentile of scores for the lens that is used. Scores for all Assessio lenses have been computed based on a dataset of approximately 25,000 + candidates for various jobs. Because different lenses include different competences and the potential required for some competencies is more rare, for some lenses the star is added from a score of 90, whereas for others it is already added at 75. The star will let you know that the Match score is exceptional, given the lens you are using.
