Recruitment
Streamlined Lens selection
Your organization can now predetermine which lenses should, or should not be used in recruitments; making lens selection a lot easier and more uniform, for better recruitment.
Candidates applying to the same job, should be assessed the same way. But with over 50 lenses to choose from, sometimes a Recruiter can have difficulty choosing the right one, let alone remember which one was previously chosen for a similar recruitment. Now organisations can solve some of these issues by predetermining which lenses to use for their recruitments. This can be done by a Recruitment admin and involves several different options.
A recruitment admin has the ability to indicate which lenses are relevant for the organisation and select which lenses can be seen and used by Recruiters in the organisation. To do this, go to the lens library and select ‘Edit’. In the edit mode, select which lenses to hide and then click save.
Recruitments that are using a lens that is no longer available, will still have access to it. The process only hides the lens as an option for selection when creating a new recruitment or when wanting to switch lenses in the compare candidate page.
Allowing candidates to retake assessments
Recruiters can allow candidates to retake an assessment.
Although the process for completing the assessments is very convenient and easy, sometimes there are issues. We know that some candidates will experience problems with their internet connection, are disturbed while answering a questionnaire, or have misinterpreted instructions. For these and other valid reasons -other than simply wanting different scores-the option is now made available to retake an assessment.
The recruiter makes the decision to allow a candidate to retake the assessment. The option ‘Allow retake of assessments’ can be found by clicking the three dots to the right of the candidate's name, in the page of the recruitment. By selecting this option, you will resend the invitation email, which candidates usually receive when invited to complete assessments within a recruitment process.
Candidates can click on the link in the email and will be asked if they would like to re-use or retake an assessment. If choosing to retake, candidates will be taken to the assessment page.
For candidates who have previously given consent to reuse their date, an extra step is needed since the abovementioned choice will be answered with ‘reuse’ automatically. To be able to make the choice themselves, they will first need to withdraw their consent. This can be down via the email that was sent to them when they gave consent. When a candidate who has given consent asks to retake the assessment, the recruiter sends an email to the candidate with a withdraw request when they click on “Allow retake of assessments”. This is done in the case of candidates who no longer have access to the withdraw email when they gave consent. Once they withdraw consent, they need to inform their recruiter that they have done this, so that the recruiter can select “Allow retake of assessments”.
Easier sharing of candidate information
The recruitment module has a new role available, for only viewing candidate information and results: the Recruitment member.
We know that for most organisations, many more people are involved in the hiring process than only recruiters. Hiring managers, team leaders, and even future colleagues sometimes get a say in which candidates to invite. These are the people you want to share the candidate information with from within the Assessio platform, but securely and safely.
We have made this process easier by creating a new role within the recruitment module: the Recruitment member. With this role you can view assessment data such as the recruitment information, list of candidates, and the Analyze Candidates page. And within the Analyze Candidates page, you can see all information necessary to get a good impression of the candidates’ match to the job, including match scores, competency scores and behavioral explanations (but not including, for instance, the potential scores of the candidates).
The Recruitment member role is view-only. People with this role cannot create new recruitments or invite other candidates to a recruitment; that's still the recruiters’ job. They also cannot invite others to join the recruitment team.
If the colleague you want to see your recruitment information is already in the platform as a Recruitment member, you can simply add them as a Collaborator in your Recruitment team and they will be able to see all information. If they are not often in the platform, it might be easier for them if you send them a link with only the data you want them to see. You do this from the Analyze Candidates page, by selecting the candidates you want to show, adding any extra competencies if needed and then clicking on ‘Share’ in the top right of the page.
If a colleague needs to be added to the platform, or they need to be given the Recruitment member role, contact a person with the owner role within your organisation. Owners in the platform can create new users and assign roles, via the People tab available to them. Recruitment member is a paid role; giving this role to more users will increase the monthly cost of the platform.
