Changing a candidate into an employee
When hiring a person at your organisation, you can move his or her data from recruitment to development.
During the recruitment process, you acquire valuable data; data that is still very useful once a candidate is hired at your organisation. This information can be used for personal growth or leadership development, for instance. If your organisation has activated both the Recruitment module and the Development module of the Assessio platform, it is now possible to keep candidate data and add the candidate as employee into the platform.
First you need to go to the recruitment page and select the candidate for within the recruitment. By clicking the three dots to the right, you open an extra menu, where you can select the ‘Mark as hired’ option. Doing so will give the candidate the ‘Hired’ status, which is immediately visible in the list of candidates within the recruitment, and moves the candidate to the top of this list.
Next, you need to go to the people page and select the Pending employees tab. Note that this can only be done by someone with the Owner role. From here you can add the person as user into the Assessio platform by again clicking the three dots to the right and selecting ‘Add as employee’. In the Add new employee screen you have to add an email address. This is because many organisations want to use company-email addresses, which will be different from the one used during recruitment. Make sure the new email address is correct. Once saved, the employee will receive an email notifying that their recruitment data has been moved and that they have been added as employee to the platform.
If you want the person’s data to be made available to him or her via Self Awareness Insights in the Development menu, you will need to assign the Leader role. This will also allow them to start working with Reviews in the Development module.
