In order to complement the O-Net lenses Assessio has developed 11 behavioural or 'persona' lenses in the platform. These are focused on certain behaviors from the performance framework, they give better use of the performance framework and they use the psychometric validity they get from the connection between MAP and Matrigma with the competencies. This means we have used the competency descriptions and the scales associated with the competencies to design them, together with expert analysis. This means that these lenses relies more on foundational psychometric meta analytic studies focused on how personality, defined by the five factor model (Personality) and cognitive ability (GMA) can predict job performance (Schmidt & Hunter, 1998; Barrick & Mount, 2003). On a general level - treating 'job performance' as a very broadly defined term - these studies indicate:

GMA is the single strongest predictor out of all possible psychometric scales of work performance regardless of job type, job level and job performance measurement criteria.

Conscientiousness and, to a lesser extent, Emotional Stability are the two personality dimensions (MAP) that predict job performance, regardless of job type and job performance measurement criteria.

Agreeableness, Extraversion, and Openness (MAP) are also valuable predictors of job performance, but their importance varies for different job types and are more dependent on what job performance criteria is used.

The enabling and change initiating leader - Fosters innovation and adaption to a changing market. Coaches, embraces differences and focus on common goals. Persona profiles
The eight persona profiles are derived from Belbins work on group roles. They are designed to be more than just group roles given the competency setup in them, so they can be used to highlight certain critical behaviour aspects for specialist positions.
